I've always seen the world best through the lens of a camera. I was given my first camera when I was seven from my father, who is also a photographer.
I've been hooked ever since.

After spending several years in the fine-art gallery world as an art consultant selling other artists work, I am now able to focus again on my own creative side.
Working mostly in black and white film, I strive to capture the light, texture, and design that I see in the world around me.

My work is printed traditionally, by hand, on archival fiber-based materials in the darkroom. I find that this is the best visual and tactile representation of the world as I see it.

I attended the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences at RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) in Rochester NY, and have shown my work at group and solo exhibitions in New York, Colorado, and California. I have taught classes in traditional and digital photography and Photoshop techniques, and continue to teach B/W darkroom classes.
